Nothing left to remember

Every state where stock or cost is mid-flight is counted on the dashboard with what to do about it: received stock waiting to be prepared, purchases waiting to be closed, reserved sales waiting to ship, totals that do not add up.

  • Prepare stock in a proper station — inspect, label, serial-number, place — or one click for the goods that need none of it.
  • Stock is reserved the moment a sale is agreed, so the same piece can never sell twice.
  • Bulk actions cover the whole filtered list, not a page of it, and tell you the count before they act.

People and the record

Who may do what, and who did

Roles with per-feature permissions decide who may prepare, sell, write off, close a purchase, or only read. Every meaningful change — who, when, what changed — is recorded on the record it touched and in one workspace-wide feed. Nobody writes it down.

  • Invitations by email with a role attached; suspend and reinstate with safeguards.
  • Relocations with a reason, and a location history per piece and lot.
  • Corrections that never rewrite history silently — reopen, walk back, write off, all on the record.

What operations ask first

We are six people. What does that cost?
The same as one. A subscription belongs to the workspace, not to each person in it — 1,000 items and 300 completed sales a month are included, and the bill only moves past those. There is never a reason to share a login.
Can our bookkeeper see the numbers without being able to change anything?
Yes. Roles carry per-feature permissions — read reports and billing, but not record a sale; prepare and relocate stock, but not close a purchase. The app only ever offers a person what their role allows, and every action is recorded with who took it.
We have real shelves. Does the software know where things are?
Every piece and lot has a storage location, placed when it is prepared and moved with a relocation that records who, when and why. Each location says what is standing on it right now, and every piece keeps its own location history.
What if we outgrow it, or want our data out?
Settings → Export builds an archive of the whole workspace — items, purchases, stock, the ledger, sales, returns, runs, members — as spreadsheet files, whenever you like. It works on a read-only workspace too, because "you can always get your data out" has to mean it.
